We started many months ago by ordering what we thought we would enjoy, at home during the week and perhaps something a little more adventuresome on the weekends. We ended up leaving the choice up to Tim Wacker and we are pleased that we did. Every two weeks, via auto ship we receive our delivery of Wacker Coffee Co.'s most recent roasts. Now we are able to try various flavors and keep it mixed up a bit. Thank you Tim Wacker for this wonderful option.
The best cup of coffee I have ever had. My wife and I are spoiled with starting our day off with Red Tape blend.

Purchased some Wright Country Blend on the recommendation of BDW ... spot on as usual. Excellent coffee ... smooth and great tasting. Looking forward to trying other varieties!!!

Open note to Tim Wacker -
I am currentloy enjoying my second bag of Burundi SWP Decaf and my first of the Wright speciality blend. While I do not profess to be able to distinguish the various flavor notes of each I can tell you that I find both a very satisfactory cup! I also appreciate the bags you ship the coffee in - they are strong and keep the flavor in from first scoop to the last. I also note that you recommend 3 days between grinding and then brewing and your shipping process accomplishes that for me! I can open and enjoy as soon as a bag arrives!
Now, for others reading this, you should know that Tim has forgiven my method of brewing which is not the most complimentary approach to enjoying his fine work: I use reusable k cups with his drip grind. Yes, I know, I am something of a gourmand but it is what I have and it still gives me a "good cup of coffee."

Was excited to receive this specialty roast to accompany my morning listen to the Wright Report podcast. This is the 2nd selection I have ordered from Wacker Coffee (Red Tape the 1st) and it was outstanding. It is a smooth bold tasting roast that is solid, and for me, elicits sensory memories of the tastes and smells of camping in the Colorado mountains, where everything is cooked on the open fire. Outstanding taste and perfect for your 1st cup of morning coffee.
The coffee is wonderful and you get a full pound of coffee, what's not to love?
As Wright Report supporters, we wanted to also support Wacker Coffee. We tried Red Tape and it was great. We plan to order more but whole bean when we return north later this month. I’ll bet it’s even better freshly ground.

I too became aware of Wacker Coffee through the Wright Report. In my desire to support his podcast I decided to check out Wacker's offerings. First, I should note that I am not a coffee aficionado. On the contrary I am just someone who likes a "good" cup of coffee. Realizing that can have many meanings let me say that I know what I like. It was with that idea that I came to Wacker Coffee. I was immediately impressed by size of each offering - 1 lb. vs the usual 12 oz. I then began my search for decaf which is a must for me. I found if but saw only whole bean which is way more work than I wanted to go to so I left disappointed. A short time later I received an email from Tim Wacker kindly informing me that drip grind was available through the drop down menu at the coffee description. Amazing attention from the company owner. That says a lot about customer service and I immediately returned to the site and ordered the decaf blend. A few days later, lengthened in part by weather delays, I received and began to enjoy my coffee. At a couple of cups a day this pound is going to last a while by which time I expect I will return and order more. Until then my thanks to Tim and whoever is aiding and abetting this operation for a good product, great service and attention to customer satisfaction.
Red Tape is the first coffee we tried from the Wacker Coffee Co. and it remains among our favorites. My family was introduced to the Wacker Coffee Co. while I was listening to The Wright Report (formerly PDB). We continue to be thankful that the introduction was made as we are never going back to other coffees again. I am a former daily Dunkin' guy, now I may stop in once every few weeks as I have the best coffee at home.

I discovered Wacker Coffee Co on the recommendation of Bryan Dean Wright of The Wright Report and when I found out it was a local roaster near my home town I was doubly excited to support a local business. I've tried four of their coffee offerings and all of them have been excellent in taste and smoothness, it's hard to pick just one! The main reason I continue to order from Wacker Coffee is the excellence of their product and great customer service they provide with every order!
Fresh, superb coffee beans. It also feels good to support a small American business. I learned about Wacker Coffee from the Wright Report.
I ordered the rum and boy oh boy did it smell amazing. I like to buy beans from local roasters, and I've had my fair share of amazing roasts, but Wacker Coffee definitely raised the bar so high not many others can reach it.

Ordering is super simple and the fresh roasted coffee is shipped promptly. Wacker does a great job roasting and obtains great quality beans. I've tried several different coffees and they have all been great. The Guatemalan was exceptional.
I have sampled many of these and continue to come back for more. Each one is as described and finding those flavor notes has been truly enjoyable. It’s been a lot of fun learning what goes into the process and watching this endeavor grow. I would encourage anyone to support this local and veteran owned company, I know you will be impressed as I am. Support local!
I love coffee, but have to drink decaf. I was thrilled to find a high quality, locally roasted decaf that tastes AMAZING. Thank you Wacker!
